Different between Modem and a Fax Modem.


Both modems are capable of getting the internet by the dial-up method. But an incoming call(telephone call) can be identified by only using a Fax modem.

How to know the Internet connecting router is working properly.

A Router has four indicators. They are Power, LAN, ADSL, and the Internet. If there has may port, the router may consist of a number of indicators instead of LAN. When the router is connected with Power, Network and ADSL cable then the power bulb is ON at the beginning. Then the LAN bulb is ON after few seconds. However, when the router is working, this LAN bulb is not ON and OFF alternately. After few seconds the ADSL bulb is totally ON.
When the router connected with the Internet that indicator bulb is alternately ON and OFF. If there is no error in the router, this activity is happening when disconnected from the Internet. If the router is not connected with the computer, the LAN bulb is appeared as OFF. Similarly, the ADSL indicator bulb is alternately ON and OFF when there are errors in the router or connection.

Why UPS gives rough sound when it was connected to a computer.

Normally, if there is an electric power failure, the UPS is changed the circuit to got the power from the backup(battery). When electric power is ON, the changed circuit is again changed into the main current. This activity is done by a special switch which is called Relay Switch. So, the rough sound is coming because of the switch ON.
Similarly, if the main current is accrued the power sporadically, the relay switch is alternately ON and OFF. To solve this problem, the UPS should be connected to a wall socket directly.

The sub whooper's sound is not quality. The baffle set makes a bad sound bumble.

This error occurs when the volume controller's attrition or dust is tied with it. So the connection is a failure. To solve this problem apply a bit of Ordicolon onto the volume controller carefully and clean the dust areas. Furthermore, this error not fixed, better to the new volume controller.

BIOS ~ Basic Input/ Output System: RAM, Processor, Graphics card, etc are connected with the Motherboard. When the computer is staring, the monitor shows the information about the RAM size, speed of the processor, brand and etc. This information is stored in a chip. Thus, the program which is used to store this information is called the BIOS.

Afterload the BIOS setting, the computer needs another program to show the next window. So, we can use the BIOS settings to get instructions to load the next window from another Operating system. This boot instructions could be a CD, Hardisk. It can be chosen by the BIOS setting.

When inserting the Operating system contained CD, first boot the computer and then install the OS into the harddisk.
